Web-Based
Knowledge and e-Learning Platforms
These
lie at the heart of our activities. We work with Clients to
firstly determine their needs and objectives, then to establish
clear budgets and schedules that fit particular needs. Working
with carefully chosen Associates and Partners we provide our
experience in the planning and development of knowledge and
e-learning platforms to ensure that Clients get not only affordable
solutions but solutions that are effective in the work-place,
solutions that meet organisational and user objectives. Through
theknowledgecollege.net Clients can get a complete Knowledge
and/or E-learning platform, including the development of bespoke
Content. Relationships with portal providers such as Simplytrading,
metaSkil solutions Fisher Technology Group and Learning Resources
International mean that Clients can get precisely the platform
requirements they need to accommodate their content and knowledge
needs into the future.
Examples
of knowledge and e-learning systems include University of east
London's multi-national "europilot" (1998-2000) programme for
Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), strategy development
(1999-2000) for www.knowledgedock.com
and (2001) development of a regional training and staff development
site www.healthknowledge.org.uk
for the West London Sector of the National Health Service.
Materials
and Content (including multi-media)
We
have strong experience in developing content and material for
knowledge and e-learning platforms and can provide these in
a widening range of formats tailored to Client needs. From simple
but effective materials written using MicroSoft's Word and PowerPoint
applications to web-based solutions using html and advanced
programming or creative software such as Macromedia Dreamweaver
or Flash we can develop particular styles and types of material
to meet particular Client needs. Additionally we can advise
on proprietary packages and materials that will augment a Client's
tailor-made solutions.
