From 1992-1995 he worked with Henley Management College as a learning, research and marketing consultant and from 1996-2000 he was Director of Business Development at University of east London where he developed on and off-line learning hubs and a series of local, national and international projects involving the development of Knowledge and E-learning platforms designed to meet the needs of a variety of users and user needs.

He has excellent personal networks spanning local authorities, higher education institutions, business support agencies, chambers of commerce and a wide variety of business organisations, large and small. Since January 2000 he has been Chairman on Docklands Business Club, part of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is a member of the Council of that chamber.

He has written and published numerous case studies and business articles in books , magazines and journals in addition to publishing over 50 E-modules on marketing, strategy, change, business start-up, innovation, customer service etc. In addition to proven project management and training skills he also possesses strong research and evaluation skills.

*Elizabeth Royston who was previously a marketing specialist in industry joined University College London (UCL) in1989 as Deputy Director of Continuing Education where she had responsibility for marketing, business planning and the development of European programmes. In 1993 she became Director of Special Projects with the aim of developing new programmes and strengthening UCL's links with European industry, government and educational organisations.

A specialist in the development of European projects, linked with the use of new technologies, Elizabeth has had wide and varied experience in developing both UK and European programmes, much of this over recent years with Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

Whilst retaining many of her links with UCL and other London Universities Elizabeth became a free-lance projects and research consultant in 2002 and brings to the knowledgecollege consortium her excellent project management, research and consultancy skills as well as her first-class academic links. top
